The Wilson
Volunteer Fire Company is only here because of the selfless
contributions of it founding members. Starting a fire company takes time, organization, and most of all donations. The community that
surrounds the Wilson Volunteer Fire Company has supported us from day
one, and continues to support us every year.
Below is a plaque (that hangs in our station) that shows the names of the members and officers that lied the foundation
of our fire company. We would like to thank these members for their countless sacrifices.
Before we were organized as the Wilson Volunteer Fire
Company in the spring of 1994, we were a sub station to the Dooms Fire
Company. We have grown quiet a bit since those days and now the once
little station has a fleet of ten emergency vehicle.
Below are a few pictures of the days of old and some of our retired apparatus.
Station 19
Utility 197
This unit was donated to
us and it has served us very well during its tenure in our station. Utility 197 will now call Montana home, for we sold it to a small community in Great Falls. We hope it will serve them well and that it will be used very little.
