This 1994 Freightliner Engine was built for us by Pierce.  It carries 1000 gallons of water and it has a Waterous pump that can discharge at a rate of 1250 gallons per minute.  This engine has a five person cab with four of the seats equipped with Survive Air SCBA (self contained breathing apparatus).  Upon arrival to a fire, this engine can lay 1500 feet of large diameter supply hose from hydrant to the scene.  We also have two preconnected hose lines used to attack the fire along with an assortment of axes and hand tools used to gain access and expose hot spots.

Engine 192

This 2003 Wild Land Interface Pumper was built by New Lexington Fire Equipment on a Freightliner chassis. It is four wheel drive and carries 750 gallons of water with a 1000 gallon a minute PTO pump.  It carries 1100 feet of large diameter hose, two preconnected attack lines, and it has a front bumper mounted water turret.  This engine is our mutual aid apparatus, meaning it responds to assist other fire stations when called upon.  In the rear compartment we have two booster reels with 450 feet of hose and it has a Class A foam system integrated in the pump.  We also have a Bullard Thermal Image Camera that is used to aid us in rescuing people trapped in a fire.

Tanker 195

This 2005 tanker/pumper was built by Pierce on a Freightliner chassis. It has a three person cab and is equipped with preconnected hoses and Foam Pok nozzles.  It can carry 2500 gallons of water and pump 1500 gallons of water a minute.  There is a Night Scan Telescopic Light Tower on the top and it is equipped with a back up camera.  It has three quick dumps and the 3000 gallon drop tank is easy to get off the side using the electric storage hoist.

Brush 194

This 2008  F 550 four wheel drive brush truck has the equipment to outfit 15 wildland firefighters.  It can carry 300 gallons of water and has a Hale pump.  The Foam Pok nozzles deliver fire resistant foam with the water, and there are two Booster Reels.  One has 200 feet of rubber hose and the other has 900 feet of soft forestry hose.  There is a 9500 pound Warn winch that can be moved from the front of the unit to the rear.  The hand tools include: chain saws, leaf blowers, rakes, axes, and bladder bags among other things.

Brush 193

Affectionately know as "The Billy Goat", this 1967 1 1/4 ton Kaiser Jeep will get to the fire!  As with our other Brush Unit, it is four wheel drive and there is an array of forest fire fighting equipment.  There is a 250 gallon steel tank with an 18 horse power Hale pump.  It has one Booster Reel with 200 feet of hose.  This unit carries Indian Tanks and Bladder Bags and is equipped with front bumper mounted ground sweeps that deliver water while on the move.

ATV 19

This is our six wheel drive Polaris Ranger.  We use it to gain access to mountain fires or injured people that venture off the beaten path.  It is equipped with 80 gallons of water and there is a half gallon foam tank built in line as well. The Warn winch can help us get out of sticky situations, and it is equipped with a mounted radio so we can always stay in communication with the incident commander.  The tool box can be easily removed and this space allows us to put a stokes basket (litter used to transport injured people) on top.

Brush 194 with ATV 19

ATV 19 can be pulled by Brush 194, Support 19, Support 196, and Utility 197.

New Utility 197

This 2009 F-550 is our newest apparatus.  This four wheel drive unit will house our four bottle Safe Air Cascade System.  This is a system that will allow us to refill our SCBA air bottles (firefighters wear these on their back and breath the air while working in a hazardous environments). This unit will also carry a Bauer Air Compressor which is used to fill the large storage bottles.  We will also have an assortment of hand tools, flashlights, flares, tarps, and many other tools needed on the emergency scene.

Support 196

196 is a 2001 Ford Excursion.  This four wheel drive unit is primarily used to transport firefighters to the emergency scene.  It has two SCBA air packs in it as well as radios, flashlights, and some other simple tools.

Support 19

This 2003 F-250 Super Duty truck is four wheel drive and is also used to transport and haul firefighters and equipment.

Evac 19

This six wheel drive Army Transporter was donated to the Wilson Volunteer Fire Company by the Veterans of Foreign War Post 9339.  This unit is vital when the rains fall and the streams and rivers rise.  Evacuations are now safer and quicker due to this unit.  It has a rear lift gate and a front mounted PTO winch.  In the back, there is ropes, life vests, and helmets.  We have also outfitted an EMS litter lock down in the rear in case we have to evacuate someone that is bed bound.
